The crystal clear waters of Belmore Basin, Wollongong

Head to North Beach

Nothing tops it. It's a beautiful beach with plenty of local cafes to enjoy the scenery and enjoy a day out.

Shellharbour Village

Shellharbour Village offers oceanfront cafés, award-winning restaurants, and boutique shops. Nearby, Shellharbour Marina provides 270 berths and waterfront dining.

Spend the day on the coast: Blue Mile, Sea Cliff Bridge and Shellharbour

The Blue Mile in North Wollongong is a great place to start; a scenic coastal path with coffee stops along the way and the lighthouse at the northern end. From there, the Grand Pacific Drive south takes you to Sea Cliff Bridge, one of the most striking stretches of road on the NSW coast, worth stopping to walk for the views alone. Continue a little further, and Shellharbour Village is a good spot to finish the day, with waterfront cafes, restaurants and a marina worth wandering around.
