My local picks
A few of my favourite spots near the properties.

Old Palm Liquor
Old Palm Liquor is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. I love the atmosphere, the food, and especially their steak. I usually go there for dinner and then head next door to Bahama Gold for a cheeky drink after. It’s one of my favourite little Melbourne nights out.

Gilson
If it’s a sunny day in Melbourne, I usually recommend going to Gilson in South Yarra. I love the atmosphere there for a long lunch or afternoon drinks, and it’s a great spot to enjoy Melbourne’s café and outdoor culture.

South Melbourne Market & Royal Botanic Gardens
Grab fresh food at South Melbourne Market, then head to the Royal Botanic Gardens for a walk or a lazy afternoon on the grass. It's one of the best ways to spend a day in Melbourne — everything is beautiful and relaxing, and it's all within walking distance. From the gardens, it's a short stroll to the Shrine of Remembrance, and if you've still got energy, the NGV is worth finishing the day at.
